Professional Quilting Costs

Many details affect the cost of professional quilting services. 

The best way to determine what the cost would be is to bring your quilt top. We can discuss the details in person, or via email.  I take measurements, ask for your vision of the quilt and discuss budget. Then I will show you samples of different quilting designs, and layouts.  My Quilting Estimate worksheet is completed during this discussion. It includes details on the quilting, thread, batting, backing, binding and special handling and you get a copy.

Estimates are good for 30 days. When you leave your quilt to be finished we finalize the worksheet, agree on the pricing and set a completion date. For out-of-town customers or people concerned about social distancing and prefer a “no-contact” discussion, the Quilting Estimate Worksheet will still be completed, but the discussion is on the phone or by email.    

I don’t ask for advance deposits but do require payment in full when you pick up your quilt.  All prices are subject to change without notice.  Any quilt that is not claimed (and paid for) within three months of completion will be donated or raffled.
